Bookings & Quotations

Quotations are based on selected package type at time of booking.

“Extras” can be added from the “make it extra” menu in addition to original package booking no later than 14 business days prior to event date due to signage printing and processing times.

Additional people requests outside of original package booking need to be made no later than 14 days prior to event date.

Package fees are determined based on the following:

• Equipment hire costs, maintenance and general wear and tear
• Sourcing and arrangement of fresh seasonal florals
• Set-up, packdown and all cleaning of equipment
• Admin and preparation
• Business overheads

Booking numbers can’t be downsized within a 14 day period before scheduled event.

Duration of booking will start at agreed booking time.

Payment

A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure a booking date with the remaining balance to be paid no later than 7 days prior to scheduled event.

If full payment has still not been made within 48 hours prior to scheduled event then the event will be cancelled and a refund will not be administered.

Any package booked 14 days prior to event date requires full payment upon booking.

Cancellations & Refunds

Free cancellations can be made in the event of a natural disaster or extreme weather conditions (hurricanes/tornadoes).

Cancellations made within 7 days of scheduled event will incur the forfeit of full booking amount.

Cancellations made outside of this period will incur the loss of the 50% deposit made upon booking.

In the event of emergency cancellations, refunds are administered at the discretion of No Elbows.

Clients are welcome to reschedule ay picnic or event dependent on availability in order to retain deposits and full booking amounts, second cancellations will incur loss of full booking amount.

If the company cancels the event for any reason, the customer will be refunded in full.

Venue & Locations

Picnics can be set-up in private residences, public spaces and event venues, however any permit and venue hire fees applicable will be organised and paid by the client in addition to No Elbows package fees.

Parking access is required for all locations chosen, therefore specific locations in public spaces can be requested but the client agrees to allow No Elbows to scope the location first to ensure best outcomes.

If any venues or locations include a stairway access, the client agrees to inform No Elbows no later than14 days before scheduled event to ensure an extra staff member is available to help move equipment safely.

Venues & Locations booked outside of a 50km radius of Melbourne will incur a Flat Fee travel charge of:

• 51km - 75km - $30
• 76km - 100km - $45
• $101km - 150km - $90

Wet Weather

We love and hate Melbourne for its unpredictable moods, so to ensure you still have the perfect day, a wet weather plan is required. This needs to be provided by the client or upon request can be planned alongside No Elbows with a site visit (in the case of the event being held outdoors).

Bookings that have been paid in full that need to be rescheduled due to severe weather can be done within a 3 month timeframe.

No Elbows reserves the right to reschedule the event if an undercover back-up plan has not been organised in the event of bad weather on the day of or at least 24 hours prior. This is due to the potential risks of equipment damage caused by wind, rain etc.

Use of Equipment

All equipment supplied for hire is the property of No Elbows.

The client is responsible for the condition and the security of the equipment within the hire period.

Any damage, loss or disappearace of eqipment will result in a fee to the client. Damage includes but is not limited to:

• Improper use of equipment
• Disappearance of equipment
• Damage to, or loss of the equipment from any unknown cause
• Cigarette or any other burns on any furniture or decor items
• Red wine or other stains on equipment that cannot be removed via standard cleaning measures

In the event of equipment being stolen from the booking site from an outside party, the client must inform No Elbows in detail of the theft along with details of the police involvement.

Picnic set-ups must not be relocated from the original location of set up.

The client agrees that the equipment will not be left unattended for booking duration.

The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising out of the overloading, exceeding rated capacity, misuse, or abuse of the Equipment by the Customer and the Customer agrees to keep the Company indemnified in respect thereof. In order to retake possession of the equipment, it shall be lawful for the Company to enter into or upon any premises where the same may be and the Customer hereby agrees to indemnify and to keep indemnified the Company against all liability and against all actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, costs and expenses howsoever incurred by the Company arising from the Company's entry into or upon any premises in exercise of its rights of repossession.

Any person agreeing to a booking and it’s terms and conditions on behalf of the Customer hereby agrees that he or she has the authority of the Customer to make this agreement on the Customer’s behalf and has the Customer’s permission to bind the Customer’s to this agreement and hereby compensate the Company against all losses and cost incurred by the Company arising out of the person signing this agreement failing to have such power and/or authority.

The Customer shall be responsible for giving any local or other authorities any necessary notice of their intention to occupy an area within the authority’s locality and shall pay all fees in connection therewith.

In the event that the Company incurs or suffers any loss, costs or damages as a consequence of the Customer's failure to carry out its obligations under these terms the Customer shall be solely responsible and shall indemnify the Company for any such loss, costs or damages.

Hire Period

Unless otherwise agreed by the client and No Elbows, all booking durations are for 4 hours for private residences and public spaces.

Booking durations may differ for event venues (restaurants, event spaces, bars etc) dependent on the booking organised by the client independently.

In the event the client is more than 30 minutes late to a booking, forfeiture of the booking will occur at No Elbow’s discretion.

Marketing & Advertising

No Elbows has the right to all photos taken at the booking for advertising purposes.
